Occupying Marion Square: Some reportedly handcuffed early Wednesday morning | The Post and Courier, Charleston SC : "Earlier Tuesday, about 50 Occupy Charleston members chanted slogans at King and Calhoun streets late into the night Tuesday as the wind whipped an American flag held high by one of the protesters."
(blogcruiser comment: A majority of the people don't even understand or know what "Occupy Charleston" is all about in Charleston or in South Carolina. So why would a peaceful group of people with a redress of grievance be shut down before things even get started? It tells me a few things. One thing is those in charge don't want the word out. Many people across the country and world have heard the messages and can relate once they do. So why shut them down when most people still don't even understand the message? Tell me what you think and why.)
